  • Care Operations Supervisor

    Working closely with our Registered Care Manager, this is a field based role that will enable Home Instead Senior Care to maintain and develop its reputation as an Outstanding Care Provider as we enter our next phase of growth.

    You will quickly establish a strong working relationship with Home Instead CAREGivers, primarily through your professional experience and knowledge which will quickly command respect within the team.

    Your fantastic attention to detail will also help you to follow and refine compliance processes over time, whilst providing support and mentorship to remote workers in your day to day work.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications:

    • Health & Social Care diploma L3-5
    • Self-starter & team player
    • Management ambition and/or experience
    • Well organised with strong computing skills
    • Obsessed with Service Quality and Standards

    Responsibilities:

    New CAREGiver Support:

    • 30 minute meetings (with Coordinator) to brief new and existing CAREGivers on Client Care Plans
    • Introduce new CAREGivers to Clients
    • Shadow and support CAREGivers
    • Complete Observations for Care Certificate
    • 12 week CAREGiver Supervisions
    • Regular well-being checks with all CAREGivers in person and by telephone

    Care & Support:

    • Role model good practice through CAREGiver team, providing one to one support where necessary as requested by Care Manager
    • Develop positive relationships with Clients through scheduled QA visits
    • Feedback to Care Manager / Action updates for Client Care Plans
    • Deliver Ad Hoc care, including out of hours, as required by the business

    Audits:

    • Audit Activity Logs and MAR sheets
    • Action issues and Support needs identified from audits

    Management:

    • Manage and participate in On Call Rota (1 weekday evening per week & 1 weekend in 4)
    • Participate in quarterly CAREGiver meetings
    • Participate in weekly and monthly Management Meetings

    Salary: £20-23k per annum depending on experience
