Dementia care at home specialist, Home Instead Senior Care in Chester and Ellesmere Port wishes to recognise World Alzheimer’s day. The care provider which has been established over 10 years in the area, already trains its Caregivers in the ground – breaking City and Guilds training it provides, with 12 more being trained this year alone. This helps to support many Clients who wish to remain independent in their own homes in the Chester, Ellesmere Port and surrounding area's who are looked after by their excellent Caregivers.
However, to really help recognise this special day, several of the Office Team are taking part in the local Memory Walk at Cholmondeley Castle, Malpas on the 7th October 2017, to help raise a donation to the Local Cheshire Alzheimer’s society, which co owners Chris and Sue Broadbent intend to match the monies raised by donating also.
Sue said’ we are all aware of the need to raise the profile of such a critical condition as Alzheimer's on such a notable day. We are very proud of the work we do in the local community in Chester and Ellesmere Port in keeping people independent in their own home for as long as possible. This is owing to the fantastic training our Caregivers receive and the way they implement this specialised care in our Clients’ homes.
We are particularly proud of the contribution our Office Team make to the care we provide and therefore, when they decided to walk for such a great cause Cholmondeley Castle, we felt we wanted to match any donation they were going to give and present it to the local Cheshire Alzheimer’s society.
