Information & Resources
Following the success of last year's Family Dementia Workshops we will be running a further series of three workshops over the coming months.
The ground-breaking family workshops were adapted from the company’s City & Guilds accredited dementia training programme, specifically developed for Home Instead’s CAREGivers. They help both family carers and community members to identify the typical signs of dementia and gain a better understanding of the condition, as well as arming them with effective techniques for managing the many different and sometimes challenging behaviours associated with the condition.
Please contact the office to find out when the next workshop will be held.
The Senior Fraud Protection public education programme from Home Instead Senior Care is designed to safeguard older people from the many scams and cons that could jeopardise not only their life savings but their health and independence.
More than seven out of ten older people in Britain (over 6.6 million people) are targeted by scams every month and the National Fraud Authority estimates that £1.5 billion was stolen from older people in 2012/13.
Our programme gives older people and their families the information to help protect against scams and cons. We are happy to talk to any group large or small that might benefit.
To book a talk please call Steve on 01962 736681 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org
I want to thank all the staff at Home Instead for their wonderful care and support. Without you we could never have kept my parents in their own home for so long. Also for the support given to myself by your carers when I had doubts that my parents were well enough to be home alone.
I recommend your company to all I know and meet.
A big thank you to all.CF
