Over the years we have had to seek care for our own family members. Dealing with this first hand provides a clear understanding of the need for quality care which is compassionate, flexible and built around the needs and aspirations of the client. We aim to deliver home care services that we would be happy for a member of our own family to receive – a care service of exceptional quality for older people in our local community. The positive influence we have in people’s lives is exemplified in our numerous review, not only on the people we look after but also their families - this is so very important to us.
So, why are we different?
- We turn up on time - every time. We send the same small team of CAREGivers whenever possible and we would never send a new CAREGiver in ‘blind’ or without an introduction
- Quality care cannot be delivered in fifteen minute - with us it's at least one daily call which is a minimum of an hour
- Our staff undergo an enhanced DBS checks (formerly CRB) and have to provide us with 4 references. In addition to this, we only employ people who we would be happy to have looking after our own family members
- Our Caregivers do not wear uniforms and so to everyone else, they look family or friends who are visiting or taking clients out.
Our clients include individuals who have come to us themselves, older children who have contacted us on behalf of their parents or relatives. People who receive direct payments from the local authority and clients referred to us by local health care professionals (Hospital staff, Doctors, District nurses and Community Matrons, etc).
Whether you call it Home Care, Home Help or Domiciliary Care, our aim is to raise the bar in terms of providing quality care for older people. We provide completely tailor-made support for the elderly which may include companionship, home help and personal care in your home services as and when needed. We also specialise in cases of Alzheimer's, dementia and palliative care with staff trained to help any clients with these particular needs. It is also possible for us to assist with respite care in the case of someone looking for a holiday or short term break.
We know what a challenging decision it can be choosing which care provider to trust looking after you or your relatives. We are a people-centred organisation and we look forward to helping you or a loved one continue to lead an independent life. Our office is always open and you are more than welcome to pay us a visit at any time.
Please say a special thank you to the CAREGivers who Mum loved and trusted. I could not have managed without the support of a great team, especially you Linda.Dr. T. Margate
