The Brighton, Hove and Shoreham Team
Lucy is our Learning and Development Manager, joining in April 2018.
After a career working for various large service organisations, in marketing, operations and senior leadership roles, I was keen to run my own small business providing a service that really matters and contributing to the local community. Having discovered Home Instead when searching for quality care for my elderly parents to support them at home, I was excited to discover that there was an opportunity to open a local office – and everything I have experienced since reinforces what a great organisation it is.
I am now proud to be opening the Home Instead Senior Care office for Brighton, Hove and Shoreham, building up a wonderful caring team of friendly CAREGivers, aiming for high quality in all aspects of the business. I look forward to being a well-known provider of quality care for older people in the city of Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas.
I will be supported by an excellent Care Manager, Mandy Kerr, who is bringing her experience gained most recently from the Independence At Home team at the council.

I am excited to have the opportunity to be part of the start of Home Instead - Brighton, Hove and Shoreham.
After working for Brighton and Hove City Council Independence At Home service I understand the importance and benefits of being able to stay in your own home for as long as possible.
I worked for many years with children with special needs and autism in schools before moving into the care sector, and have always enjoyed meeting people and contributing to improving their quality of life and well-being.
I am looking forward to welcoming on-board a team of caring and compassionate CAREGivers who share my passion to provide exceptional quality care to the older residents of this vibrant City.
Angela has joined us a Care Support Manager - helping to ensure the office runs smoothly, and that the support our clients and CAREGivers receive is excellent. Angela's experience in running a busy school office will be a great asset - and we welcome her to the team.
Dave supports us in the office part-time, ensuring that our CareGiver recruitment administration is well managed and reflective of the quality of service that we provide.
Lara has joined us as Senior CareGiver - helping to ensure the quality of the service we provide is the best it can be, and supporting other CareGivers to achieve their Care Certificates.
