Being a CAREGiver
Why Stuart loves being a CAREGiver ....
"It is nearly four years since I joined Home Instead Senior Care and the time has passed very quickly. I was first drawn to the company by their ethos and commitment to quality care. This I soon found out also applies to their staff. The people I have come into contact with within Home Instead Senior Care certainly care. It is also refreshing to know that there is an open door policy whereby any issue can be taken right to the top to try and obtain a satisfactory outcome.
There are many care companies and this is the first one I have ever worked for but the way it has grown from strength to strength we must all be doing the correct thing, employer and employees alike."
Why Debbie loves being a CAREGiver ....
"I am a 48 year old lady with a lovely family. I have been married for 30 years and have 3 children aged 26, 23 and 17. I also have a granddaughter aged 3.
I started working in the caring profession sixteen years ago and I have loved every minute. I've worked in a care home and in home care. In December 2014 I started to work for Home Instead Senior Care. This by far is the happiest I have been when working for a company. I love the way we are introduced to a client before we see them on our own. It is important that care is personal and the client knows who will be entering their home.
My family know how much my work means to me. They have known from day one that this is a 365 day a year job and have always supported me.
When I have trained people in the past I have always told them to remember one thing, treat clients how you would want your family to be treated.
I am a very sensitive person. I laugh, I cry and most of all I listen to my clients. I love to hear their life stories."
May I thank you very much for the service provided by your caregivers who were very kind, caring and considerate to my dear wife.Mr F - Ferndown
