I have personally experinenced how hard it can be to find a trusted and reliable source of care for a family member on the Fylde Coast.
For over 8 years, I helped my Mum look after my Dad at home, as his journey through dementia progressed.
We struggled to find quality and above all consistent care.
To have been able be develop trust and a genuine relationship with a CAREGiver or a small team of CAREGivers, would have made a huge difference to both my parents lives. After all it is allowing someone into your most private place, your home and often at one of the most stressful times in your life.
Therefore I genuinely feel proud of every CAREGiver we employ. We train every member of the team to a very high standard and my motto on recruitment is, 'If they wouldn't have been good enough for my Mum and Dad, then they aren't good enough for our team.'

Matt Doherty - Scheduling Manager
I have worked here at Blackpool and Wyre Home Instead for 3 years I started working for Home Instead in early 2015 as a CAREGiver and found working with our clients very rewarding.
My role in the office is to manage the schedules of our CAREgivers so that we can provide continuity to all of our clients.
I also audit daily logs and other paperwork and ensure that we are delivering top quality care.
In addition to my office work, I work as a CAREgiver, visiting the same clients I have worked with since I started with the company.
I love working for Home Instead. It feels amazing to help improve the lives of our clients and their families.
Nadia Stefani - Caregiver Supervisor
Hi, my name is Nadia, I have been working at Home Instead since December 2015.
I previously worked in America, Maryland as a camp councillor caring for and working with both children and adults. I worked in varied areas, and completed a wide range of training. This was just the start of my caring career and is what sparked me to seek a job in care on my return to the UK. I did my research into other companies and Home Instead Senior Care came out on top.
I started at Home Instead Blackpool and Wyre as a caregiver, I was then offered the position of Senior Caregiver which I thoroughly enjoyed as I could continue to see my clients as well as working in the office. I am thrilled to be a part of the forward thinking team at Home Instead with client driven core values and excellent service.
Outside of work, I have a 9 month old little boy and a huge family who i still like to give a lot of my time to, we all get together every Friday evening for tea at my granparents house who we all help to care for.
Billie Colclough - Quality Assurance Manager
Hi, my name is Billie. I joined Home Instead in October 2017. I previously worked for another care company, however even after only being with Home Instead for a short period of time their ethos and values of the quality of care continue to overwhelm me. I feel I have been trained to a high standard and I have been able to go out and meet some of our lovely clients face to face. My role means on a daily basis I am speaking with both clients and CAREGivers and making sure all our paperwork is to a high standard and compliant. I feel privileged to work with a long standing company with a team of brilliant and friendly people and I look forward to meeting lots more new faces in the future.
Vicky Peacock - Caregiver Support Manager
Hello I am Vicky.
I am the CAREGiver support manager. I joined Home instead a year ago as a CAREGiver and was then asked to join the office team as CAREGiver support.
My job involves meeting with all new members of staff and processing their applications. I support new caregivers through their first weeks and months with the company and ensure that they have the right level of support they need. I encourage the caregivers new and old and ensure that every aspect of their employment is just right for them. Part of my job involves keeping all staff personnel files compliant and providing ongoing training to all staff.
I love the home instead ethos, and the high quality of care we provide.
