Helping others live rich, independent lives in their own homes is an enormous responsibility. We’ve made a business out of building relationships, improving communities and changing lives for the better. Taking care of our employees is equally as important to us and is an extension of our brand values. We search for the right people and work hard to retain and promote them, because we want this job to make a difference in your life, too. You'll understand how vital your work is when you see on a client’s face just how much he or she looks forward to your company. You’ll know you’re making a difference when the people you care for take a renewed interest in activities they were once unable to do on their own. You’ll feel great about the appreciation your clients will show you. Many carers feel enriched by the experience they give to others. What can you expect a typical day to bring? Being a provider of care at home services can be exciting and unique. No two days are alike. At times there’ll be laughter and fun, at others you will share emotional journeys and new experiences. One thing is certain, you will have a great sense of achievement that really is something to behold

I just wanted to now take the time to give you some positive feedback regarding my Mum’s new (since Dec 2014) home care provider Home Instead. Michelle Thompson and her team in Blackpool have been outstanding since we first made contact with them and had our initial meeting to today when Michelle supported us in a meeting with Social Services and the Local Mental Health Team.
They have delivered on everything they promised in such a way that my mum now sees them as “family” and not like strangers which was something she experienced with the previous care company. Michelle and her team have my Mum’s interests at the forefront of everything they do and I’m sure that this will be the same with all their clients.
As I said I just wanted to take the time to give this feedback and if you would like any further information or detail please let me know. (the feedback portal on the website wasn’t working hence the email)
