Being a CAREGiver
Here in Blackpool we are always looking for fantastic people to join our team of Caregivers. this is due to the increasing demand for our services in the Blackpool, Cleveleys, Thornton, Bispham, and Fleetwood.
The special role is ideal for anybody that would like to build up a lasting relationship with a less older and able person and would like to make a real difference in someone else's life. we do assist people with a wide range of personal needs enabling people to remain independent at home and enjoying a good quality of life .
We don't like to think of care as other care agencies in our area , we believe in meeting all the needs of fulfilling someone's life not just the personal care but also the Social and emotional sides.
A client may require help with tasks around the home or assisted to go shopping, to help them decide what they would like to cook and prepare, maybe they would like to keep their much loved dog but have been feeling they are struggling to cope with walking the dog alone. All the simple things in life that make a huge difference. That is why we look for Caregivers from all areas of life all who believe in the same goal enhancing an older persons quality of life.
Empathy, compassion and reliability are much more important than formal experience as we will provide full training and support before you even begin. We want Caregivers to think of their role as much more than a normal job we want Caregivers who want to give that little bit extra.
Our training is designed to give our Caregivers the skills and knowledge to go out and care for our clients safely and with confidence. We have an Alzheimer's and dementia programme which is accredited by City and Guild. This is a fantastic training programme and a formal qualification for Caregivers alongside the on site Diploma training we also provide in Health & Social care and Customer Care.
As a Caregiver for us you would never be assigned to a client you have not previously been introduced to, we do not do what other care providers do and carry out 15/30 minute calls or deduct your travelling from spending time with the client.
If you feel that this is you and you could help us in changing the face of aging please get in touch with us.
