What some of our CAREGivers say about being a CAREGiver at Home Instead Windsor, Egham and Staines:
“When I saw the advertisement to become a Caregiver, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. I did my training and couldn’t wait to start work. I never looked back. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to going into work - no two days are the same and the people I visit are just wonderful. The way I look at it, if my client was my dad, I would want someone to give him the best care possible, so that’s the way I look after my elderly clients, the way I would look after my own dad. I simply adore my work, the stories I hear are incredible and after caring for someone for a while, they become like family. Some of my clients need help around the house, some have dementia and some simply just want the companionship, but I have learnt being a Caregiver with Home Instead that I get as much out of my visits, as I hope they do. I go home at the end of the each day, feeling fulfilled, in the knowledge that today I helped make someone’s life a little better”. Karen, CAREGiver at Home Instead for 2.5 years

Firstly major congratulations on the ‘outstanding’ rating from the CQC Inspection. I and Mum & Dad can only agree with this rating and we believe it is very well deserved for all the team at your Home Instead.
My thanks as always to Hayley, Jo and the rest of the team for the care & support they show my parents - we could not manage without them and they have made such a difference to my parents lives (especially Hayley as their main carer).
Bit of feedback to you on the training course you did for my family. Ben (the young man, my nephew) uses things he learnt every week when he visits my parents which is lovely. He felt he learnt so much and that is really great for him at such a young age.Mrs S - Staines
