‘Angels’ are rated as outstanding at our Eastbourne office

We are delighted that our Eastbourne & Hailsham office has been awarded the highest national accolade in the care sector - an outstanding from the CQC, with their care team described as ‘angels’ by one delighted client.

Eastbourne & Hailsham is owned and managed by husband and wife team Ian and Soraya Cottrell and we are very proud of their achievement.

In the report, a client’s daughter commented on the genuine and caring nature of her mum’s CAREGivers, “The staff that came into mum were like angels in my eyes, even bringing me hot coffees and pastries in the mornings after long nights.” Another is quoted as saying, “I’ve been matched with an ideal carer and one of his greatest assets is making me laugh” “Going above and beyond is the norm for Home Instead.”

Only two per cent of home care providers inspected by the CQC have been awarded the coveted ‘outstanding’ rating, making this a truly impressive achievement. The report summary describes the service as ‘exceptionally well led,’ going on to say that ‘People received an extraordinary, responsive service which was tailored around their unique needs.’

Managing director of Home Instead, Martin Jones was full of praise for the team and said, “This is such a wonderful achievement for Ian, Soraya and their exceptional team of ‘angels’. They are so committed to caring for their clients and CAREGivers, as well as for others in their local community. Caring is part of everything they do, supporting older people to not just live their life, but to live it well.”
