CQC names Epping Forest office ‘outstanding’ – our 19th office to receive this accolade

We are celebrating with our Epping Forest office today as they have been named as ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent care regulator.

This is a great achievement for Victoria Rigby who set up our Epping Forest office in 2013 and runs it with the support of her mother, Jennifer.

The inspection report makes for delightful reading. A family member who spoke to inspectors described the service as ‘a lifesaver’ and CAREGivers were described as ‘diamonds’.

Inspectors acknowledged that the team of CAREGivers in Epping Forest went ‘above and beyond what was expected of them’ and they also reported that ‘The service had gone the extra mile by considering the needs of people and their CAREGivers.’

To date, Home Instead has been awarded more outstanding ratings than any other home care provider under the CQC’s new Ofsted-style inspection regime, introduced in 2015.

With only two per cent of all adult social care services inspected being named outstanding under the rigorous eyes of the CQC inspectors, we are immensely proud to have achieved nineteen such ratings to date.

Commenting on this latest outstanding rating, managing director of Home Instead, Martin Jones, said, “The quality care service we provide allows older people to remain in their own homes for longer than would otherwise be possible and brings peace of mind to family members.

“Reading the many positive comments from clients and family members in this latest report I can see that this is exactly what we are delivering.

“Huge congratulations to Victoria and Jennifer in Epping Forest. We are proud to have you and your amazing team in the Home Instead family.”
