Home Instead Wandsworth was privileged to be invited to the Age Concern Wandsworth rebranding event in September last year. The local charity has changed its name to Age UK Wandsworth.
Home Instead Senior Care Wandsworth is one of Age UK Wandsworth’s recognised care providers and works in close partnership with the charity to provide tailor made care services to older people in and around Wandsworth.
However achieving, inclusion into Age UK Wandsworth’s list of recognised care providers is no easy task. Before an agency can be awarded “Partnership Status” in recognition of the quality & consistency of its service delivery, it has to go through a rigorous selection process.
The Help and Care at Home Service Manager, Nizam Chowdhury, then carries out regular service reviews including an evaluation of customers who have been signposted to such providers. This is to ensure that customers have had a pleasurable experience using the agency and that the service met their individual expectations as well as the care standards set out by Age UK Wandsworth.
Regular monitoring of care providers helps reassure customers that any decline in their services will be quickly identified and addressed.
