Home Instead Senior Care St. Albans has been spreading Christmas cheer to its elderly clients recently by holding a festive party at Sandridge Sports Hall,St Albans.
More than forty-five of Home Instead’s elderly clients and their carers joined in the fun packed party, enjoying a festive quiz, a secret Santa present giving and a raffle with all the proceeds being donated to The Alzheimer’s Society charity based in St Albans. There was of course a visit from the man himself Father Christmas, who spent time chatting to the guests. Finally what party is a party without great music and the songs and sing-along were kindly provided by the musical duo of Home Instead client Audrey and caregiver Andy.
Owner of Home Instead inSt Albans, Fiona Harrall commented, “Christmas is a time for celebration and we wanted to give our clients a wonderful treat this year. The party was a great success and it was lovely that so many of our elderly clients could attend along with their carers. Everyone really got into the festive spirit and we have already had requests for more parties next year!”
