Home Instead Senior Care in Solihull has been taking to the streets to spread the word about the services it offers and to inform older local people that a care home is not the only option – there is another way.

On the 22nd October Home Instead held a stall in the middle of Solihull town centre to promote awareness of the services Home Instead provide. Home Instead owners Tracy and Paul Ferreira were joined by their care manager Sonia and scheduler Katy to hand out leaflets and spread the word about Home Instead.

As the office is looking to recruit caregivers, the team were also delighted to meet a selection of possible candidates. Tracy commented: “We really enjoyed getting out in the community and found it really valuable to speak to people face to face about the services we can provide. As we are looking to recruit a large number of caregivers so the day was a great way to raise awareness of our new vacancies.”

Home Instead Senior Care provides an at-home care service for its elderly clients including such services as companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, post-discharge care, personal care, medication reminders, shopping and errands. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
