Home Instead nominated ducks, Derek & Doris (back right) dressed up for a day out at Dr Kershaw's duck race last Saturday. The race and fun day, back by popular demand, was held at Chadderton Hall park in Oldham. People could show their support by buying (and decorating) a large duck for £20 or buying a smaller 'racing' duck for £1.

Rachael, staff coordinator at Home Instead, was just one of the team who attended to support the event "It was a great day out with plenty of fun and money raised for a great cause". Rachael added on behalf of Derek and Doris "although we didn't win 'best dressed duck' we're not too dissapointed; nobody minds coming second place to a superhero!".

Well done to all the team of organisers at Dr. Kershaw's for a great event!
