Lola Ojomo - Franchise Owner
I became interested in Home Instead Senior care after being influenced by my mother who lives in the United States and had heard about Home Instead’s reputation over there. My mother is a retired Nurse [practiced for over 40 years] and is currently receiving care herself. I am responsible for the overall management of the business. I hold a BSc in Computing and Information Management. Prior to joining Home Instead Senior Care, my previous roles have included working as a Support Analyst, a Business Development Manager and an Account Manager.Home Instead Senior Care was a complete shock to me – I had no idea that care packages could be completely tailored to the individual’s choices in the way we do it. I like what we do at Home Instead. I am proud of the fact that we are different and unique. I beam with pride when our clients talk about our Caregivers and how our focus is on flexibility, quality and putting our clients’ needs first. |

Terina Jones - Care Manager
My name is Terina Jones and I am the Care Manager for Home Instead Senior Care.
I have 2 children and 4 step children and 4 grandchildren. I started working in care about 15 years ago and worked initially in the community. I then worked in South end Hospital for 8 years. Then I became a Care Manager for domiciliary care. I believe that every client should be listened to and people should be treated the way that I would like to be treated myself. I like to think that the care given by Home Instead Senior Care is of the highest calibre and enjoy working with the team.

Our Caregivers
Our Caregivers are the lifeblood of our business. We recruit a diverse range of people who have a passion to help vulnerable people live independently. All Caregivers are employed by ourselves, (we do not use agency staff) and are chosen for their empathy and enthusiasm in caring for people. Each Caregiver undertakes an enhanced criminal background check and successfully provides six references (3 personal and 3 professional). All our Caregivers complete our extensive and award winning training programme prior to working with our Clients and are fully CRB checked and insured. We take pride in providing a compatibility match between our Clients and Caregivers wherever possible and will always personally introduce our Caregiver to the Client at their first time of meeting. |
