A live performance by Elvis is amongst the fantastic entertainment lined up for a community fun day on Wednesday 21st July from 2pm to 5pm at Age Concern in Wigston. Deputy Lord Mayor, Manjula Sood will also be in attendance and everyone is welcome to come down and join in the fun!
Both the young and the ‘young at heart’ will enjoy indoor curling, Nintendo Wii, hooka duck, the tombola, raffle, car boot sale and many more games. For the little ones there’s face painting, games, a bouncy castle, a giant slide, cakes, ice cream, refreshments and much much more.
We at Home Instead Senior Care will be available to advise on services we can provide to help people live independently in their own homes. Other organisations such as Lloyds Pharmacy will be offering free health checks, also joining us will be the Stroke Association, British Red Cross, The Alzheimer’s society and others will be there to provide advice on healthy living.
The fun starts at 2pm and is free to enter so why not pop along to Age Concern at 51 Paddock Street in Wigston for a great afternoon out.
