In remembrance of our deceased clients Jenny Wardle, our Care Coordinator, is participating in the Race for Life event for Cancer Research UK on Sunday 11th July 2010 at Western Park, Leicester at 2.30pm.
Home Instead is a very reliable source of care and we are often involved with raising and promoting the awareness of personal care and human values within the community by raising clients profiles. This enables people to stay at home longer.
Jenny says “I have worked very closely in caring for people who are dying of cancer and related illness and have had the privilege of knowing some amazing people who have given me so many fond memories of our times together. Being there for my service users and their families has not only changed my life and way of seeing death, but has taught me there is so much involved in all that we do to help. This is just something to say “you’re not forgotten”. I am number 333 in the Race and will be wearing a T-shirt that has all of client’s names on it”
