Hello and welcome to Home instead Senior Care in Knowsley.
The Knowsley office has been open for a while run by Paula Calland and Kathy Churchill.
Paula joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2007 and Kathy in 2008 and were previously at the Liverpool office.
Both I and Carolynne Favager have now joined the team here at Knowsley and we aim to carry on the successful work that Paula and Kathy have done so far.
We all aim to provide quality at home care services to our local community in and around St Helens.
The team fully understands how important it is to have someone you can trust, who will care about you and your loved ones, who will help you to continue enjoying your life and who will support you to remain as long as possible in your own home.
Both I and Carolynne have experience of caring for others and the problems it can sometimes bring, I looked after my mum and grandad as they neared the end of their lives. I really struggled to find the right kind of care for them, so I made the decision to move into their home to enable them to have the quality of care which I just couldn’t find.
Carolynne who as Care Manager is the backbone of our service, made her career in care following an early introduction to caring as a young girl. Her mother suffered a serious injury (which we are glad to say she recovered from) and Carolynne was introduced to the world of rehabilitation, she saw the value of what carers do and just knew this was something she felt passionately about. She has since worked with both elderly people and those with learning difficulties.
We are both passionate about ensuring that elderly people are happy and have independence, and here at Home Instead we will provide you with the level of care that we want for our own families.
There are lots of plans in place to help create opportunities for the elderly in our area and some events we are planning are going to be fun, so watch this space!
Our office is in Aspinall House, Aspinall Street, Prescott, so if you are passing please call in and see us and of course the kettle will be on!
