Co-Owner of the the Home Instead Senior Care franchise in East Nottinghamshire, Jo Aram, will this weekend be raising money for Sports Relief by running for 3 miles at the Nottingham Mile.
The money raised will benefit people across the globe. Here in the UK Jo hopes that the money raised will help those vulnerable members of the community. Jo commented "Just £10 will help someone living with dementia in the UK, and their family/carer get the expert advice and guidance to make a real difference in their lives".
Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care for the elderly in their own home to help that person maintain their independence and dignity whilst enjoying the comforts and benefits that remaining in familar surroundings brings.
Jo thinks that a few sore muscles and the odd foot blister is a small price to pay to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by many families who live with a family member that suffers from Dementia.
