Jo and Richard had a successful day at the South Nottinghamshire Community Safety Partnership Valentine's Day Event in Cotgrave. The event was well attended and the Lovers' themed cup cakes baked by Nick, our Care Manager, were very popular and disappeared very quickly!
Richard commented "we had a throughly enjoyable day letting part of our elderly community know about the tailored service we can provide". The event was attended by 21 organisations including the Fire Service, Spirita, Age Uk, the Stroke Association, Cotgrave Advice Centre, First Contact and Principia.
Richard added "meeting organisations involved in providing services and advice locally for the elderly was very useful and allowed us to discover more about the services that are available, whilst at the same time informing these organisations of what we can do to help as well."
We will attend more of these events so Nick will be very busy baking as well as being our Care Manager.
