Richard spent Saturday morning and early afternoon attending a Health Network Event organised by Prinicipia Rushcliffe at the Grange Hall in Radcliffe on Trent. A range of speakers from throughout the NHS and Prinicipia spoke about health issues affecting people of all ages.
Most of the presentations were interactive which allowed those members of the general public who attended to get involved with the issues and topics that were being discussed. Home Instead were one of a select few organisations who were asked to have a stall at the event which gave Richard the opportunity to promote the benefits of the bespoke care service we can provide to people in their own home as well as other aspects of the service such as providing respite care so that family carers can take a few hours each week to go to appointments or other commitment or just simply recharge their batteries.
Richard commented “The presentations were thought provoking and educational. I came away from the event a lot more informed than when I went in. I would encourage people of all ages to get involved and attend future Health Network Events that Prinicipia organises across the Rushcliffe area.”
