New appointment means 30 new caring jobs

A local company specialising in at-home care for the elderly, is set to create 30 jobs after appointing training and recruitment coordinator Lynne Delbridge. Mark Darnell and Elaine Lomax have experienced such high demand for their high-quality at home care service, that this latest appointment is the start of a large-scale local recruitment drive.

Mark comments “With an ageing population, caring for the elderly is a very important issue and we have found many people are grateful to learn that we offer a realistic ‘stay at home’ option. As the word continues to spread, we have gained many new clients in the area, and as a result we are actively looking to recruit around 30 new caregivers. It is great that we now have Lynne on board to head up this recruitment drive!”

Lynne had been working in IT for her entire career when her mother fell ill in 2006 and she decided to retrain as caregiver and began working for Home Instead in Guildford. After relocating back to Northampton to live near her family, Lynne was keen to join the local office of Home Instead once again. Lynne take up the story: “I am really passionate about providing the highest quality of at-home care and that is why the Home Instead ethos appeals to me so much. At Home Instead, we match our clients thoughtfully to our caregivers to promote a long-standing and beneficial relationship. Essentially, we only employ people we would want caring for our own family members and I believe this is the way it should be!”

She continues, “Although our existing caregivers come from a hugely varied background, the one thing they have in common is that they all have a real passion for helping others and caring for people in our community. We provide all the necessary training and are a friendly, supportive team, so if you would like to find out more, please get in touch!”
