Welcome to Home Instead Central Hampshire.
We are Steve and Jan Gapper and we head up the team at the Central Hampshire office of Home Instead Senior Care. Steve and Jan run the office on a day to day basis with Jan also acting as the Care Manager.
Jan is a qualified Occupational Therapist and has worked with older people both in the NHS and in a care home. She has seen at first-hand how flexible and responsive quality care can positively impact a person’s well-being. This is exactly the kind of service we deliver in Winchester, New Alresford, Alton, Petersfield and surrounding areas.
We are delighted to be able to provide a non-medical care service of exceptional quality for the older people of the community in which we live. The work our team carries out has a positive impact, not only on the people we provide care for, but also on their families and this is very important to us.
Our aim is to deliver home care services that we would be happy for a member of our family to receive and we do this by training our team to ensure we deliver the highest standard of care and our service is the best it can be. Since we started in 2011 we have provided care to over 120 clients and, in a recent client survey, all of those who responded said that they would recommend us to a friend and/or family - an endorsement that we are delighted with.
Our clients come to us in many ways. Some people come to us themselves; others are introduced by their children or relatives and some clients are referred to us by Social Services and the Primary Care Trust. Regardless of how you come to Home Instead, it is our goal to provide the same level of care.
Our office in New Alresford is open and friendly and you are more than welcome to pay us a visit at any time for a cup of tea and a chat.
