Harry, a rescue greyhound and his owner Lisa Sanders who is a caregiver for local Cannock care company Home Instead Senior Care, have been spreading a little Christmas cheer.
Margaret is a huge animal lover but she isn’t now able to have her own, so she absolutely loves her visits from Harry and was particularly impressed to see him wearing this seasons must have festive gear!
Lisa who has been with the company since it opened in June last year, is also a huge animal lover which was one of the main reasons she was matched with Margaret to provide her care. They always have a real laugh and a joke and no more so than when Harry who came from a local greyhound rescue arrived looking less than impressed in his red outfit.
Lisa commented, “Margaret and I get on so well and she really enjoys seeing Harry and he always gets lots of treats from her. I love my job as it gives me the time to spend with clients, not only carrying out tasks but for companionship as well. Harry who himself needed a caring home after he finished his racing career, is a lovely sweet natured dog and I think he rather likes all the attention he is now getting, even wearing those antlers!”
