Sue Reid Administrator

Sue Reid Administrator

Sue is working in-house with the Home Instead team and is responsible for managing the office admin as well as continuing her role as caregiver.

Having previously worked as a beauty therapist, and then as an administrator for an engineering company, Sue decided that she was ready for a change of career. She explains: “I read about Home Instead in a local paper and was excited to learn more about this growing company with a strong ethos of providing high-quality care.”

“I joined the company earlier this year as a caregiver, which I thoroughly enjoyed as it has strong parallels with my past-career as a beauty therapist; making personal visits to clients and offering care and companionship. However, I am really enjoying being able to put my organisational skills back into practice with this new role of office administrator. From my very first encounter with Home Instead, the training and support I have been given is second to none. To be able to enter into a new profession is fantastic in itself, but it is great to be given the opportunity for promotion and progression in my career too! “

Outside of work, Sue loves spending time with her 3 grown-up children as well as taking her dog for walks. She is learning Spanish, loves baking and even likes to paint china in her spare time.
