Local company Home Instead Senior Care based in Poole, who specialise in care services for older people so that they can remain living in their own homes, has announced plans to double its team by creating over 50 more jobs, due to unprecedented demand for their services in the local area.
Amanda Baker owner of Home Instead explains, “With an ageing population, caring for the elderly has never been a more important issue. A knock on effect has resulted in a significant period of change and growth in social care, which is leading to a broader range of improved job opportunities in the sector.
Amanda continued, “After 3 ½ years I feel we are now a well-established business in the area and I’m extremely proud of our reputation for delivering quality care at home. We recently moved into new offices which has given us the opportunity to increase our training and support facilities and we are looking to double our existing team of caregivers over the next year.
“Although our existing caregivers come from a hugely varied background, the one thing they have in common is that they all have a real passion for helping others and caring for people in our local community. We provide all the necessary training and are a friendly, supportive team so professional experience is not essential. Whether you are 19 or 99, if you are a caring and compassionate person and would like to find out more, then we want to hear from you!”
We are holding a Recruitment Open Day on Friday 22 March between 9 am and 5 pm at Discovery Court Business Centre 551 – 553 Wallisdown Road, Poole BH12 5AG. If you would like to find out more about a career in care, come along and see why we are different from other providers, the kettle will be on!
