We are delighted to be able to provide a non-medical care service of exceptional quality for the older people of the community where we live. The work our team carries out has a positive impact, not only on the people we look after, but also their families. This is so very important to us.
The best way to sum up our aim is to say that we will only deliver home care services that we would be happy for a member of our own family to receive - and that's our promise.
Our Clients
Our clients include individuals who have come to us themselves, older children who have referred their parents or relatives, people who receive direct payments from the local authority and clients referred to us by the Primary Care Trust. Regardless of how you come to Home Instead, it is our goal to provide the same level of help and care we would want for our own families.
We are viewed as a quality (and lower cost) alternative to a nursing home or a residential care home and we have won numerous domiciliary care awards for the in home care we provide. With completely tailor-made support for the elderly which may include companionship, home help and personal care at home services as required.
We also specialise in cases of Alzheimer's, dementia and palliative care with staff trained to help any clients with these particular needs. It is also possible for us to assist with respite care in the case of someone looking for a holiday or break.
We are a people-centred organisation and we look forward to helping you or a loved one continue to lead an independent life.
