Franchise Owners - Bryn & Jill Evans
Bryn & Jill Evans - were one of the first Home Instead Senior Care Offices to open in the UK. ‘We first opened our offices in July 2006. At the time we had only 2 employees. Today we employ over 140 full and part-time employees. Our aim when we began was to try and make a difference to the quality of care provided to all the individuals we care for. We aim to only employ specially chosen individuals to ensure the best quality is of care is delivered. We truly feel that dignity and independence can be one of the most important things to any person who wishes to remain in their own home. Since we started the business we have provided quality care for over 500 individuals and when we receive letters of thanks there really is no better feeling’. Bryn and Jill are happily married and live in Barnsley. |

Head of Care - Sarah Oldham
Sarah Oldham - is Head of Care and Registered Care Manager for the Home Instead Senior Care Sheffield office, she is the rock of stability in the day to day running and has overall responsibility for the delivery of the care we provide for our clients. Sarah joined Home Instead Senior Care in April 2007, and uses patience, honesty & humour in all the right ways to make both clients and staff feel at ease. As Clients can feel nervous when asking for help, Sarah ensures clients trust that Home Instead are at hand to offer as much support as they require. Sarah also oversees the selection, training and matching of our CAREGivers so each client has the support they desire and that they are aware our aim which is to help them remain as independent as possible in their own home. Sarah has over 16 years of Care experience; there is not a question she can't answer. Her knowledge of the care industry allows her to guide our dedicated team to provide the optimum level of care. Sarah is a Sheffield girl at heart but has crossed the boarder and now lives in Barnsley. |

Care Manager - Denise Neves
Denise Neves is the Care Manager for the North Sheffield office. Denise started with Home Instead in June 2010 and has worked in care for the past ten years; Denise has vast knowledge on all types of the care we give. She originally started with the role as Care Co-ordinator showing great passion for what she did and soon took on the role of Care Manager. Denise goes that extra mile to ensure all her clients and their families are happy with the service they receive, and also makes sure all her clients are matched with suitable Caregivers that they can trust and get on with in their own home. Denise always puts a smile on your face and has everyone else’s needs before her own; she is perfect for the role of care manager and we are proud to have her as a member of our team. |

Assistant Accountant - Bernice Eggleton
Bernice Eggleton - works directly with the Managing Director & together they manage the day to day book keeping, accounts & wages. Bernice has a background in accountancy & book keeping and ensures that both clients and CAREGivers queries are answered quickly and efficiently. She is originally from South Wales and now lives in Barnsley with her husband and two young children. |

Training Officer - Marilyn Johnson
Marilyn has worked in Health & Social Care for over 30 years in a variety of roles, including being a Home Manager. In the last 8 years she has been training in NVQ’s and Common Induction Standards as a Training Manager with a private training provider. She lives in Barnsley and enjoys spending her spare time with her family. She says, “I’m really looking forward to working with a fantastic team at Home instead and to training and supporting CAREGivers and ensuring we continue to provide an excellent service.” |

Scheduler - Jenny Clough
Jenny is 24 and coordinates client & Caregivers schedules, focusing on their consistency, compatibility & continuity. Her role is important in making sure CAREGivers and Clients are happy with the service we provide. Jenny is from Barnsley; she has worked for Home Instead for 3 1/2 years, starting as a caregiver, a role which she loved. Jenny worked closely with her clients and built many relationships, after the 1st year Jenny became a senior caregiver and began taking part in the on-call rota. On-call provides an out of hour’s service for Client’s and CAREGivers for issues and emergencies. In the beginning of her 3rd year she started helping in the office and was then quickly promoted to Staff Coordinator. We recognised right away that Jenny had the skills and the passion to "put it all together." She quickly won the hearts of clients and CAREGivers. Jenny particularly enjoys working with the entire Home Instead staff to better the lives of those who may need extra assistance. She makes the sometime difficult job of scheduling seem effortless. Her desire to do a great job for clients and to take good care of the CAREGivers has made her a success as Staff Coordinator. |

Scheduler - Sandra Trout
Sandra Trout is 57 Years old and lives in Drighlington Bradford. She has been working for Home Instead since March 2010, Sandra began her role within the company as a Caregiver, quickly taking up the role as Senior and more recently becoming Staff Coordinator for North Sheffield, Performing a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for my clients. Sandra assists and supports other staff members in order to provide the highest quality service to all clients. She coordinates CAREGiver schedules on a daily basis by communicating all changes to her CAREGivers & Clients; she matches appropriately trained and experienced CAREGivers to specific clients needs |

Scheduler - Claire Parkin
Claire Parkin - coordinates & maintains schedules for our clients & Caregivers, focusing on their consistency, compatibility & continuity. Her role is absolutely key in ensuring both Clients and Caregivers are happy with the service they receive. Claire is responsible for scheduling the south of Sheffield – she lives in Sheffield & has vast knowledge of care. |

Care Co-Ordinator - Angele Binney
Angela Binney started working for Home Instead in 2010, she originally started as a CAREGiver and has now taken on the role as Care Co-ordinator for North Sheffield. Angela supports the team well and makes sure her clients are completely satisfied with the service we provide, this is achieved through regular shadowing, spot checks & quality assurance checks. Angela also carries out introduction calls, this enables the CAREGiver to build a background to clients, what the client enjoys & what they would like a CAREGiver to do when they are together thus ensuring the smooth beginning of a relationship one of trust and honesty between client & CAREGiver. Angela lives near Barnsley and has worked in care for the past ten years. |

Care Co-Ordinator - Faye Histon
Faye Histon has been working for Home Instead since January 2007. Faye started as a CAREGiver, and by September 2007 she became a senior member of our team and started with on-call. As well as being a CAREGiver for Home Instead, Faye has also spent a short time scheduling in the office, therefore making her perfect for the role of Care Co-ordinator with knowledge of everything that can be thrown at her. |

Recruitment & Retention - Joanne Bentley
Joanne Bentley – Joanne’s duties include CAREGiver interviews and selection. Joanne ensures that the CAREGivers we employ are caring and professional. She also ensures that all personal files are maintained according to the National Care Standards. Joanne also organises CAREGiver training days which include; Common Induction Standards 2 day course, First Aid, Moving and Handling & Dementia. Joanne lives in Barnsley with her two children and has a great deal of experience & Knowledge in both HR & administration. |

Recruitment & Retention - Debbie Cooper
Debbie Cooper is just the right kind of person to serve as our 'Director of First Impressions'. She is also our HR Co-ordinator along with Joanne. Debbie says, “The way you are first greeted demonstrates our concern for you. It’s a busy office, but your call is our top priority. I really love working at Home Instead and meeting people who want to become a CAREGiver . I ensure all 6 references are requested and checked on receipt and once trained, I follow up with quarterly supervisions. It’s lovely to see people complete their training before going on to meet their first client as a new and much valued CAREGiver. I’m always there to help and support people when needed”. Debbie lives in Sheffield with her husband Paul and their rescued Jack Russell Terrier Lucy. |
