The team at Home Instead Senior Care in Barnet has been named care team of the year at the 2012 Independent Specialist Care Awards.
Dale and Diana Bevington, owners of Home Instead in Barnet, along with their care manager, Moira Fullagar were present at the glittering gala dinner last Friday (15th March) to collect the award. The event was held at the London Marriott Hotel on Grosvenor Square and hosted by comedian and entertainer, Ruby Wax.
As specialists in providing care for elderly people, many of whom are living with dementia, Home Instead’s submission focused on their work providing specialised care for people living with dementia.
Commenting on the win, Dale said, “At a time when care of the elderly is once again in the media spotlight with last week’s Which? survey reporting a care system ‘at breaking point’ it is even more rewarding to receive recognition for the way we deliver care which is quite unique and totally centred on the needs of the individual.”
