Class 1: Understanding Alzheimer's & Dementia

#9/ 10

Stages of Alzheimer's

There are generally three stages of progression with Alzheimer's disease, but not everyone will experience the same symptoms or progress at the same rate. The average length of life is 8 years after diagnosis though others may live 20+ years. Behavioural issues also vary among individuals. Maintaining a good quality of life can make a significant difference in how someone progresses through the disease.
