Many of our clients are living with the consequences of a stroke and as an organisation we are committed to enabling people to maintain their independence and continue to live at home. We are keen to work in partnership with the Stroke Association in providing practical help to people in their own homes that can help them to regain their confidence, maintain normal daily activities and receive the friendship and support from a highly trained, caring team of care staff.
Families tell us that the individualised support that we can provide to them has been invaluable in helping people recover from a stroke, get back their confidence and start to live the life they want to. We are also able to provide families with the peace of mind and reassurance that they need.
The impact from a stroke varies tremendously and some people just need a little help with light housework or a bit of shopping, whilst others may need a meal preparing or help with daily activities such as washing and dressing. We are able to tailor a package to meet their needs in a way that suits them, whilst retaining their dignity and giving them much needed encouragement and support.
By partnering with the Stroke Association, we are confident that we can provide help in a way that is well informed, evidence based and in line with advice from the experts. So if you would like to know more please do contact us or the local Stroke Association who would be happy to help in any way we can.
