Bhavesh, Ruth and Maggie
140 people took part in the Stroke Association's sponsored run through Swinley Forest at the weekend. The run was organised by Bhavesh Dave, with help from his father and brother and was a great success despite the rain and the cold. The starting point for the run was close to Bagshot in Surrey and runners were able to choose between 5K, 10K and 15K distances.
Parish Councillor Ruth Hutchinson and Maggie Martin from Home Instead Senior Care both stepped in as marshals after the original marshalling team were forced to pull out.
