Elizabeth and Doug at the New Wimbledon Theatre
Caregiver, Gianni Geminiani, provides a companionship service to two of our clients, Doug who lives in Worcester Park and Elizabeth in Surbiton. Gianni has spent time building a trusting relationship with both clients over a number of months. Elizabeth and Doug have spoken often of their love of the theatre and especially musicals and often remenisced about the days of stage and screen.
Home Instead is passionate about enhancing our clients lives, so what better excuse did we have than to organise a trip for them both. On Thursday, Gianni took Elizabeth and Doug, who had never met each other before, to The New Wimbledon Theatre to watch "Back to Broadway" - a musical,with renditions of the world's favourite musicals, including songs from Les Miserables, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, West Side Story,and many more.
A great time was had by all and another trip out is being planned!
