Care Company owner rescues lady on stricken mobility scooter

Alison Yeatman owner of Home Instead Senior Care Bath and West Wilts came to the aid of an elderly Corsham resident who had the misfortune of getting a flat tyre on her mobility scooter while out on a shopping trip. ‘The elderly lady was quite a way from home when I spotted her struggling along with a flat tyre. The scooter was listing over and limping along. The lady was obviously struggling to maintain control.” Says Alison who came to her rescue. Alison was able to give the lady and her scooter a lift home. “The scooter broke down into several manageable parts that all fitted into the boot of my car. The lady explained that she had sought the assistance of taxi drivers at a taxi rank and that none of them were able to help.” Alison was able to help further by giving the lady information on a mobility scooter recovery service in case of problems in the future.
