MP Richard Harrington shows his support for Home Instead
MP Richard Harrington paid a visit to Peter Neighbour’s rapidly expanding home care business, Home Instead Senior Care, last week. As Richard is concerned about the problems faced by the care sector as a whole, he wanted to meet with Peter as he believes Home Instead is a great example of a flourishing at-home care company that is doing things right.
Peter Neighbour launched the Watford-based company only 12 months ago to provide personalised care to enable people to remain independent in their own homes, but has received such high-demand; he is looking to create 30 more jobs by autumn 2012. Richard was impressed with Peter’s high-quality approach to care as well as his planned expansion and met with him to discuss ways of raising the profile of care as a rewarding and worthwhile career.
Richard commented: “It is always important to support local businesses. Peter and his team are clearly very passionate about providing quality care to all their clients and it is good to see that this success is helping create ongoing job opportunities in the area.”
