Local Woodville woman, Gillian Mansfield, has joined the Derby South team of at-home care provider, Home Instead Senior Care, in the role of Care Manager.
Gillian, who has over 30 years experience in the care industry working with older people and clients with learning disabilities, as well as 18 years voluntary work, is full of enthusiasm for her new role. It will see her visiting clients to establish their needs and then developing a care service plan plus, most importantly, finding the right caregiver for them.
Home Instead’s service is all focused on providing choice for their clients, whatever level of care they require.

Gillian has made many friends through her years of caring for people and keeps in touch with many of her previous clients, including a lady from Swadlincote who Gillian takes out for coffee to her favourite café every weekend. They will sit and chat, sipping their coffee, watching the world go by, so simple but so valuable.
When Gillian isn’t busy caring for others, she enjoys spending time with her husband and walking and training their dogs.
