A NEW service specialising in providing care for older people in their own homes has opened in Wiltshire and hopes to create 30 new jobs.
Home Instead Senior Care North Wiltshire will offer at-home care to elderly clients and provide a flexible and personal alternative to nursing home care.
For owners Alison and Nick Yeatman of Corsham, this new venture is a change from their former careers in management and IT and a labour of love following a personal family experience.
Said Ali: "My father died last year. He was a wonderful man and a huge part of our lives. One of the things we really struggled with was finding suitable support for my mum to be able to look after him and keep him at home."
"When we learned about the Home Instead ethos, it fitted perfectly with our own experience and we became really excited about making a difference in our community."
Home Instead Senior Care is a company looking to change the way care is delivered in the UK.
The service is tailored to the needs of individual clients and ranges from companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, post-discharge care, personal care, medication reminders, shopping and errands.
