Home Instead Senior Care in Chester has this month donated £150 to Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
The Chester at-home care company has been building a relationship with its local hospice for nearly 3 years. As part of his quarterly caregiver meeting, Home Instead owner Chris Broadbent decided to hold a tombola with his staff to raise money for this fantastic cause.
Chris comments, “As we provide at-home care for many elderly people in Chester, it is great to be able to help an organisation that also works with older people too. The hospice is a fantastic organisation and has helped many of our clients and their families, so we decided we just wanted to give something back.”
Chris and his wife Sue donated various prizes for the tombola fundraiser which raised £100 for the cause.
The couple then went on to donate a further £50 to this total, which they were proud to present to the hospice earlier this month.
Chris comments: “It is great to be able to help such a valuable community institution and we just hope that this money will go some way to allowing the Hospice to continue its fantastic work.”
