The team at Home Instead Senior Care in Chester stepped out recently to join the Moonlight Walk around the scenic city of Chester. The walk which was sponsored by at-home care company Home Instead, is in its 6th year and still proves to be a great success.
Owner of Home Instead inChester, Chris Broadbent acted as a steward at the all-female walk, and Recruitment and Retention Officer, Helen Porter joined the other 250 women to walk the 10 mile circular route.
The Moonlight Walk was in aid of the Breast Care Unit at the local Countess of Chester Hospital, and the Relative Comfort Appeal to build accommodation for the relatives of patients in the critical care unit.
Chris commented, “The walk was a great event, and it was lovely to see so many people joining together to raise money for such a good cause.”
