On 14th September Age Concern's Alresford Day Centre celebrated its 20th anniversary with a party in Arlebury Park. The Day Centre meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Chiltern Court, Alresford and provides care for over twenty local people.
Steve and Jan were delighted to be involved in the planning of the event and, on the day, provided the celebration cake in Home Instead colours. Chris Perry, Director of Age Concern Hampshire can be seen cutting the cake in the photograph.
It was a super party with some of the original helpers present to remember the start of the Day Centre. They were joined by clients, their families and representatives of local support organisations together with current helpers. Doris Rose, Manager of the Day Centre, thanked Home Instead for their support and generous provision of the cake.
