New Dementia Cafes in Wolverhampton

The Alzheimer's Society, in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council, has started to hold regular Dementia Cafes in the city and Home Instead Senior Care is delighted to support these events in any way that we can.

The cafes are an opportunity for people with dementia, their family and friends to meet and enjoy themselves in a relaxed and friendly environment.  There is usually a guest invited along.  Some are entertainers; others offer a variety of advice and information.  Individual access to dementia related information is also available in accordance with the wishes expressed by people who attend the café.

You can spend time chatting with family and friends (old and new) in an informal social setting.  Staff and volunteers from the Alzheimer's Society and other agencies will be available to give you support.

If you are affected by dementia and would like to meet others in a similar situation, you will be welcomed at your local Dementia Café.  Dates and locations are as follows:

First Tuesday of the Month – 10.00am to 12.00 noon
