The Wimbledon and Kingston office were delighted to have a special visitor to our CareGiver team meeting last week. Gemma Jolly the Dementia Advisor for Kingston came to talk to the team about the fantastic job she does. Based at Tolworth Hospital, Gemma's role is vital for those diagnosed with Dementia and their families. She offers support, help and guidance to some one living with the experience of Dementia.
Many of our Clients are living with Dementia, and our CareGivers spent alot of time asking Gemma specific questions about their clients situations, building on the Dementia training and exprience they have already gained.
It is vitally important to provide continuity of care to those with Dementia, and our clients definitely seem to benefit from seeing the same friendly face each time.
