Dale Bevington and Joseph Ajuwon (far left in photo) attended the Carer’s Week Celebrations at the Winkfield Centre. The event included an exercise session followed by a fantastic lunch which comprised everybody contributing a favourite dish.
Colleen Fiffee (second from left), Manager of Haringey Carers Centre introduced Gina Adamou (second from right) the Mayor of Haringey who spoke of the important role family carers have in delivering care to people in our community, she also commented on the great facility that the Carers Centre was providing for family carers like Alexi Robert (far right).
We were able to explain to the assembled carers more about the services Home Instead provides in supporting older family members in their own homes.
We answered a number of questions about our services and the benefits that a bit of extra help provides for family carers. The entire event was a great success and enjoyed by all.
