Tracey Chuwen and the team at Home Instead in Manchester organised a Royal Wedding ‘knees up’ for around 40 elderly residents from Burnage and Levenshulme. They arranged transport for everyone to Burnage cricket club where they all toasted William and Kate’s marriage, followed by a wedding feast, a game of prize bingo and a singalong.
The event was generously supported by local businesses including Tesco, McVities, Iceland, Co-operative, Martins, Booth and Howarth, Joy and Pride, S&K and Burnage Cricket Club.
