Home Instead Senior Care Harrogate, joined local branches of Arthritis Care and Age Concern in an amble to raise awareness for arthritis sufferers. As part of Arthritis Week, (May 9th-15th) Home Instead Senior Care owners Sheena and Andrew Van Parys were joined by a team of their enthusiastic carers to take part in the Amble for Arthritis in Valley Gardens, Harrogate. With 10 million sufferers living in the UK alone, Arthritis Care offers support by offering useful information, providing help lines and even helping with pain management. The Home Instead walk raised a fantastic £300 for Arthritis Care, and Sheena comments: “As well as supporting such a good cause, we thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the amble and promoting exercise as one of the best ways of keeping pain at bay.”
