Brentwood based ‘at-home care’ provider, Home Instead Senior Care is delighted to announce the appointment of Marie Morrison from Romford to the key role of Recruitment and Retention Co-ordinator.
Marie will be responsible for recruiting and training new members of the team at the expanding business which recently relocated to Stubbers Farm in Blackmore.
Having previously worked as a merchandiser and then as team controller for a national greetings card company, Marie decided that she was ready for a change in career direction. She explains:
“After 15 years of travelling round the country I felt that I really wanted to work closer to home. Whilst searching the internet for job opportunities I came across Home Instead which immediately struck a chord as something that I would like to do.”
“Initially I joined the company last June as a Caregiver which has given me a good grounding for my new role. I still like to get out and do some of the caring from time to time as I really enjoyed working with the clients. Home Instead already employ over 30 Caregivers, but we need a further 20 people to deal with the demand for their services and I would love to hear from anyone interested in joining our team.”
Home Instead is rapidly building a reputation as one of the UK’s leading at home care providers. Their service is tailored to the needs of individual clients and ranges from companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, post-discharge care, medication reminders, shopping and errands to personal care. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
