Paul Edden, owner of Home Instead in Newcastle-under-Lyme is a motor sports enthusiast in his spare time and is Chairman of Westfield Sports Car Club. Driving his own Vauxhall powered Westfield SEi, Paul takes his hobby very seriously although he was seen to let his hair down at the recently held annual awards dinner.
In honour of this year’s Championship winner, Phil Newell being a dead ringer for animated cartoon character Barney Rubble, Paul decided it would be a fitting tribute to present the award dressed up as his good friend Fred Flintstone.
Paul said “We all think Phil is the spitting image of Barney Rubble and I couldn’t wait to see his face when I appeared in my Fred Flintstone outfit, it was a picture.”
News of his antics soon got back to his staff at his Home Instead Senior Care offices in Newcastle-under-Lyme where calls of ‘Yabba Dabba Doo’ and ‘Wilma’ have been ringing out all week!
