The elderly residents at Saddle Court, Wigan enjoyed a fun filled night of Bingo this week (27th January) put on free and hosted by the team from the local office of at–home care provider Home Instead Senior Care.

With caller and care manager Tammie who swiftly learned her key of the door from her clickety click, lots of exciting prizes were up for grabs as the residents took part in three games.

One resident in particular did very well. Violet Collins, 95 from Saddle Court sheltered housing scheme was the eldest player and  landed the star prize in the final game.  She won an hour of free care from Home Instead, posh shortbread biscuits and a beauty pamper bag!

Phil Eckersley, who owns and runs the Wigan based office of Home Instead, said “We had a great time with the residents at Saddle Court; you can’t beat a good game of Bingo to bring people together. It’s great to be able to interact with older people in the community and we will certainly be returning in the future.”
